Group Therapy
At Transformations Counseling, we believe healing and growth happen not only within ourselves but also in connection with others. Group therapy offers a supportive space to share experiences, learn new skills, and discover that you are not alone.
In group therapy, 6–10 participants meet with a trained therapist to explore challenges, practice new ways of relating, and receive encouragement from others on similar journeys. Each group has its own focus—such as managing anxiety, navigating identity, healing relationships, or building resilience—and emphasizes creating a safe, affirming environment for LGBTQIA+ people and allies.
Group therapy can help you:
-
Feel understood and supported by peers
-
Build confidence in expressing yourself
-
Practice communication and coping skills
-
Break patterns of isolation and self-criticism
-
Gain practical tools for everyday life
Whether you’re seeking personal growth, healing, or community, group therapy provides a space where you can show up authentically and grow alongside others.
