FAQs
How do I contact you?
We know that taking the step to reach out for help can be one of the hardest parts of the process. We try to make it as easy as possible. If you click on our contact page you will find the information you need to reach us by phone, email, or by sending a quick message through our website. We strive to respond in some way by the end of the day or within 24 hours.
How do I pay for therapy?
Understanding therapy, insurance, and payment can be confusing. If at any time you want help, just let us know. We currently accept the following insurances: Anthem BC/BS, United Healthcare, and Aetna. We would be happy to walk you through the process of getting therapy started. Learn more here.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes, by law your therapist cannot share any information about your treatment without your written permission. Richmond is a big enough city that you and your therapist may never run into each other. You and your therapist will discuss exactly how to keep your information confidential should that happen. We take confidentiality very seriously. We would love to tell you more if you have questions.
How do I know if my therapist is the right therapist for me?
We want you to have the very best fit in your counselor. If you decide that your therapist is not the best fit for you, you can always let them know. Sometimes a conversation with your therapist can resolve a problem to enable you to keep working together. If this does not help resolve the issue, you can always switch to another therapist in the practice or Richmond community. We will be happy to help you connect with someone new. You always have a choice.
